Credit Cards

Credit card is ubiquitous in this modern and digitalized world. Basically, a credit card is a system of payment, named after the small plastic card issued to users of the system. Initially it is used only for mortar business trade. It becomes popular when it allows the consumer to 'revolve' their balance, at the cost of having interest charged. It eases the tense of consumers’ spending.

After the existence of so many credit card services, it eventually becomes a status that represents the spending power of an individual. Many quotes from credit card companies had proven this:

“Shop, Dine and Travel the way u deserved!” – HSBC
“Life gets better everyday…” – Standard Chartered
“The way you want it” – CIMB

Later, electronic business started to evolve globally and make this invention even more precious and valuable. It acts as identification for electronic payment. However, there is also some negative issue being said about this system of payment despite its significant role in the electronic trade world. The low security of the credit card system presents countless opportunities for fraud. This opportunity has created a huge black market in stolen credit card numbers, which are generally used quickly before the cards are reported stolen. Anyway, with the improvement of “counter-hijacker” and “counter-hacker” knowledge, most of the credit card companies have increased their security system. The problem is what about the credit card processing services? Would it be safe?

For e-merchant, they really need to figure out the best service provider for credit card processing. This ensures a good customer relationship when there is a reliable and secured credit card processing service. Like being mentioned just now, credit card is a payment system which represents an individual reputation and status. Hence, when the e-commerce or digital trade can be processed safely and without fraud, the privileges of credit card remain! When customers feel safe and comfortable with “click-purchase”, they will keep buying. Make sure you select the right credit card processors before u start your e-business!
