When I was still a young child, I perceived those who drink alcohol as bad people. Probably that’s the way Asian educate their children. Being brought up in my small family, none in my family is a heavy drinker. We only contact with alcohol when it is Chinese New Year. A special festive where olden Chinese celebrate the moment of harvesting in the fields. Now, we celebrate it as a tradition or a continuation of culture. Even at this very joyful season, we (me and my siblings) just manage to taste a little alcohol of 1% in a beverage called “ANGLIA SHANDY”. It’s a refreshing blend of lemonade and beers.

Slowly, as I stepped into university life, I had (being forced to) learned how to drink alcohol. This is when I have to deal with people from all walks of life. Being a committee of a society, I have to deal with sponsors, partners, etc. However, I still can’t handle it when the volume is excessive. As beginner, the first two alcohols I met up with in university life are “HEINEKEN” and “CARLSBERG”. Though being bottled up attractively, it’s still cause my social life to be miserable. Why we have to know the art of drinking all these alcohol?
My eldest brother told me that cigarettes and alcohols are just the same. It’s a tool of socializing and making business. To those who are in business or corporate world, it helps to reduce their stresses and provide them with the sense of fantasy. When you share the same fantasy as your partners, customers, clients, or whoever, you manage to enter their heart and things go easier. However, it also depends largely on how you communicate after making them “drunk”. My friend told me other fact which leads to alcohol consuming. He said that it’s normal to drink alcohol when the atmosphere and place is right. He added that it’s too bad (or even consider as rude) if we choose not to drink while all of others are drinking. “OMG, is that so?”

Well, no matter how I still have to learn on controlling my own affordable volume. Another friend of mine taught me few skills. First, raise your alcohol cup and pretend that you are drinking it whenever other parties start pouring it. This ensures that your cup is not being top up all the time. Second, only drink once whenever there’s a toast. This ensure that your alcohol level remain the same after a “long-drink”. Third, when there’s no choice where your cup has to be topped up, add more ice into your cup.

Despite of all these alcohol stories, we still need to know and be aware of the consequences of over-consuming alcoholic drinks. And does it really release your stress and reduce tension? Or it’s just our own “placebo” effect all this time? It might lead us into subconscious condition perhaps, but definitely not into a fantasy world. Beware of the temptation to addiction effect!

I’m planning to buy a digital camera soon. I don’t know how soon but it would be my next target. Thus, I’m surveying some of the model through online recently. A lot of types for selection included cyber shot, SLR pro, Cyber shot pro, etc. Actually I’m not planning to have a high tech and expensive one since I just need it for rough use and blog photo post purposes.

Anyway, I’m attracted to this model (haven get to know about the price) of BenQ. The first thing that attracted me is its slim look and size. Compared with other camera brand on market they are just getting fatter and fatter for better hand holding posture. I just need a handy one which I can bring along wherever I go. That would be more than enough. The most important thing that I look into is the pixel (since I need to capture some of my artwork and get to edit with software. It has to be extremely in detail). Follow by the battery life span and sustain time. Lastly, I will look into the memory space available.

Looking at the simple requirements that I need, it’s actually simple to find one which suit me. However, I’m in love with this. Look pretty cool. I will consider it if it’s less than RM700 or near to it. Have to start saving money. Sigh~

Tesco a hypermarket shopping mall had grown like mushroom in my country. It replaces much of the traditional groceries shops (kedai runcit) and mini market because it actually provides everything we need daily from a simple toilet paper to sophisticated television. Nearly everything can be found in this hypermarket. It is really impressive.

However, that’s not the only attraction of Tesco. Tesco also provide the cheapest groceries and goods in town. Being the largest retailers in town, they get cheaper price from suppliers and we as the consumers gain the same benefits. Tesco also produced their own products almost in all kinds of variety for customer selection. Moreover, their own products are also cheaper than others branded goods. The place is almost suitable for different group of incomers.

The concept is also family friendly, since it provided small lot for other retailers. At the same time, it also has children playground in the mall. From a simply trolley we can see their initiative and creativity to welcome more customers. The trolleys are specially designed in few different forms. Trolleys with baby handle are for parents who have small babies. Trolleys with small size are specially made for children. They want kids to enjoy the shopping process as well. How nice.

Its holiday mood now since I just finished my final exam for the first trimester. Anyway, I’m still considering where to go for my short break vacation. There is also a possibility that I’m not going anywhere and just staying at home waiting the time to pass. Few of my friends had gone for their vacation to the City of Entertainment in Malaysia yesterday. I did not follow since I had been there for couples of time last year. NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Google, the Internet's leading search engine, announced Monday that it is buying popular online video site YouTube for $1.65 billion in stock.
YouTube, which was founded in February 2005, has quickly become the most well-known of several online video sites. More than 100 million videos, many of which are short videos created by the site's users, are downloaded a day on the site.

According to Internet research firm Hitwise, YouTube has about a 46 percent share of the online video market. For Google (Charts), the purchase of YouTube gives the company the ability to tap into the potentially lucrative online video and social networking markets. Some analysts have criticized Google for relying too much on advertising tied to keyword searches. The combination of Google and YouTube could further strengthen Google's dominance in online advertising, giving it an edge over rivals such as Yahoo! (Charts), Microsoft's (Charts) MSN and News Corp (Charts)., which owns the social networking site MySpace. Some analysts said Monday that Yahoo, Microsoft and News Corp. also had probably expressed interest in buying YouTube.
Bill Tancer, general manger of global research of Hitwise, said after the deal was announced that MySpace would now probably need to promote its own video service more aggressively on its site in order to compete with a combined Google-YouTube.

Easier to count to drop i guess. Anyway, some might said that the new brand look seems to be more suitable as a "saving water campaign" logo. Anyway, it still stand on top of the world.

Its design employs the space-saving VR principle with two particularly slender eight-cylinder blocks arranged at a 90° angle to each other. 1001 horsepower equip the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 with a level of acceleration unheard of in the sports car segment, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in just three seconds and past the 200 mph mark in a mere 14 seconds. Thanks to its 923 lb-ft, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4’s enormous propulsive power is not exhausted until it reaches

Suddenly thinking of my old time toys, LEGO!
This is my favorite toys since I was small, and I love it because it carves my imagination and creativity. I still remember that my father used to buy me one small box of LEGO every time I did well in my exam. Basically I (used to) have a large collection of LEGO, but sadly I’m not sure where had I keep it or where had my mom dumped it.

Look at the LEGO we have nowadays, it’s more fun with different theme. Some of the themes are from movies, some from cartoons, and so on. It adds colors to this toy. Lovely!
Hope that one day I could play this toy again. Probably I’ll do it when I’m free enough. Try to get some flash back on how fun it is to build my own model without referring to the box instruction. For sure my kids in future will get the same toys branded LEGO from their dad! Definitely.

Ever thinking of having a cool watch like James Bond?
Well, now Sony Ericsson is coming out with a trendy watch named MBW-100. It is awesome and almost compatible with the one James Bond has. Being injected with one of the powerful function hand phones have nowadays, Blue-tooth. It makes the watch even more powerful and useful besides watching time. It is a handy gadget which links you to your hand phone or other equipment with Blue-tooth.

The main advantage is that the system lets users quickly and discreetly knows who is calling, without having to dig their phone out of their pocket or purse. The person wearing the watch can quickly decide whether to take the call or not.

The system uses the Bluetooth wireless standard to beam caller ID information from select cell phones made by Sony Ericsson to a tiny display on the watch face.

The watch vibrates to alert users to an incoming call, and a quick button press can send the call to voicemail. Though the watch can not answer a call, but it is compatible with Bluetooth headsets as well.

The watch is going to be in market at the end of October, with the collaboration with Fossil Company.

I had been dreaming of going this fantasy world since I was a kid.
